Hi and bye. I am sad to say my goodbyes but unfortunately it is that time of year when one must end exams and think about a summer job.
Here's a link to my other non-uni related blog, so please do click here and have a read and a laugh.
Adios and enjoy life.

Living at Sucksville University.
I was going to write this about food, but seriously who wants to know about what I eat, just that I should warn all thee new students out there, university is a great way to put on weight rather than lose it. Healthy eating is for the rich, students are poor and more than often cannot cook. Not that I am cooking tonight. My lovely boyfriend(who shall remain nameless for privacy purposes) is cooking dinner for me.
Sweet Boyfriends flatmate just gave me a chocolate bar.... I am now all sorted for the evening.. I just have to persuade my boyfriend that we need popcorn when we go to the movies later on tonight.
It is quite nice not having any assignments due anytime soon, well actually I have no more this year just two exams one of which is the day after I get back from a 3day road trip and the other the day before I move house. So in terms of assessments and the times they fall, this semester absolutely sucks. Rather than do assignments I am spending all my waking hours applying for jobs and looking for a new place to live. End of the study year always sucks. Help me universe I need a job and a house or I will be sleeping on a friends couch and on the unemployment benefit, neither of which is fun.
Chocolate has officially been eaten right down to the last crumbs and my darling boyfriend has just announced that dinner is ready... Get other people to cook for you as often as you can, just so long as it isn't always oven fried chips and pizza...

That archaic Lawn Mower in the Shed.
How does one write this post without pointing fingers at people, though I do get the feeling that the person in question doesn't read this blog. I am in no way going to name names, but seriously they totally piss me off sometimes...
What I am talking about here is that annoying flatmate who you just wish would either get a personality change or to piss off and let someone more suitable move in... For me the deal breaker is whether they do their share of the chores around the house. The dishes do not clean themselves, not all houses come with dishwashers you know. Oh and the soap scum in the shower just builds up and means that the next person on that duty has to work twice as hard. Come on, giving the shower a scrub really doesn't take that long. Do you know how long it took me to scrub the shower last time I was on bathroom duty?
Oh and be careful of a flat where you have to mow the lawns, that is far more unappealing than dishes or cleaning a shower. It takes time and effort that you just wish could be diverted to other more enjoyable activities such as planning your next flat party. I once lived in a flat where the only lawn mower we had was one of those archaic push ones. You know the ones with those spinning barrels that require you to use your strength and effort to cut the grass, not a motor that purrs and spins the blades for you. But one upside was that our lawn was all of 3m by 2m. Lugging it up steps was a bit of an effort.
There will be someone in your flat that doesn't do their share of the chores, but that aside flatting with mates, or in my case total randoms(yes I do have friends) can be the best experience ever. Oh and don't be too serious, you will go grey far to early you know. We can't have 20 year old students who are almost as grey as their grandparents.
People dishes don't do themselves, soap scum takes some scrubbing and hire a lawns man to save you time. But all in all have fun and enjoy your time flatting.
P.S. I hate chores as much as the next person, I just know that they have to be done. You don't want your parents to see a dirty and disgusting house when they pay a visit, that can be one of the most embarrassing moments in your life.

| 3 days later and they still aren't done. We need forks to eat with you know. |

| I swear the one I pushed around the garden wasn't that rusty. But it was still a hard job. |
